 • Built-in SD Card: 32GB storage (~1,400 clips at 20 seconds each in 4K)
 • Cloud Storage: Footage is also backed up to the cloud depending on your app plan

Transfer & Share: 
 • To your phone: Download footage directly from the app
 • To your computer: Use a USB cable (acts like a flash drive)

Here's how it works:

 • Choose between photo mode (32MP stills) or video mode (4k & 1080p available).
 • Set the camera to auto-capture birds using an ultra-fast motion sensor that begins recording within 0.4 seconds of detecting bird movement
 • Choose from 10, 20, or 30-second clip lengths (adjustable in the app settings)
 • Manually hit the record button in the app to capture longer videos whenever you want
 • Watch a 1080p livestream directly from the mobile app in real time
 • Adjust bird detection distance in-app to suit your setup and avoid false triggers. For best results, avoid pointing the camera toward the sun to reduce non-bird activations. 
 • Zoom in up to 4x digitally to get a closer view of your feathered visitors

Yes, the hiBirdie Cam requires a Wi-Fi connection to stream live footage, upload videos to the cloud, and sync with the mobile app. If your Wi-Fi goes down temporarily, the camera will continue to store footage locally on the built-in SD card and sync when the connection is restored.

Tip: if you're experiencing low Wi-Fi connection, you can order a Wi-Fi extender.
